In Israel, there are approximately 13% of the population who adhere to a vegetarian diet. The nation has become the forerunner of the vegetarian movement in the Middle East.

Next to Israel, Taiwan, with around 12% population, prefers a vegetarian diet according to the World Atlas report. In Ireland, around 5–6% of people have adopted a vegetarian lifestyle. In Australia, around 5.5% of people have adopted a vegetarian lifestyle. Pakistan is not in the list.
