Top Scientists List: A total of five scientists from Gorakhpur have made it to the list of top two percent scientists of the world released by Stanford University. These include two scientists from MMMUT and three from DDU. This year, 2,23,153 scientists from across the world have been included in the list. DDU’s retired chemistry professor Nakshatra Bahadur Singh is at 8304th place in this list. DDU’s retired chemistry department professor Gurdeep Singh has also been included in this list. DDU’s zoology department head Prof Ravi Kant Upadhyay has been included in this list for the fifth consecutive time.

Prof. Gurdeep has also published more than 200 research papers so far. He lives in Gurgaon. This is the third time he has been included in this prestigious list. Prof. Gurdeep Singh is ranked 96,355th in the list. Physical Chemistry is his area of ​​specialization. He served in DDU for about 30 years.
