Goa Tourism achieves a remarkable milestone at the India Travel Mart (ITM) Amritsar 2024, as it received the Best Pavilion Award. This achievement reaffirms Goa’s commitment to fostering a sustainable tourism model that preserves the state’s natural and cultural resources while offering memorable experiences to visitors from around the world.

This recognition was presented by Ajay Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of India Travel Mart, C/O ICM Group, and was accepted by Deepak Narvekar, Deputy General Manager of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), and Rodlin Mascarenhas, Assistant Director at the Department of Tourism, Goa. 

Goa’s pavilion distinguished itself through an engaging showcase of the state’s rich cultural heritage, regenerative tourism initiatives, and diverse travel experiences. The vibrant representation and commitment to promoting sustainable tourism practices captivated both visitors and industry leaders throughout the event.

Suneel Anchipaka, Director Tourism and Managing Director, Goa Tourism Development Corporation, IAS, said, “Winning the Best Pavilion Award is a testament to Goa Tourism’s dedication to continuously elevating its tourism offerings.
