India News | Investment Proposals of Rs 23,000 Crore Received from Sagar Regional Industry Conclave, Says MP CM Mohan Yadav
Sagar (Madhya Pradesh) [India], September 27 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in the fourth edition of Regional Industry Conclave held in Sagar district on Friday and said that investment proposals of around Rs 23000 crore received and around 27,875 job opportunities would be generated.
The fourth Regional Industries Conclave of the state was organised at Jawaharlal Nehru Police Academy Ground in Sagar on Friday. Industrialists and investors across India and abroad participated in the conclave. CM Yadav also held discussions with the industrialists on the occasion.

“Today is a historic day for Sagar. Since, we started the Regional Industry Conclave, we are organising the conclaves in various divisions in the state. When we organise the conclave in any division, it covers all the districts focusing on all the job-oriented sectors across the state. I am happy to say that with the development of industries not only economic growth happens but also it generates local job opportunities. Today, it was the fourth edition of the Regional Industry Conclave held in Sagar,” CM Yadav told reporters.
Over 3500 industrialists and representatives of six countries which include Magnolia, Algeria, Kenya, Canada, Iran, and Thailand participated in the conclave. Besides, investors from 10 states came to the conclave. Along with this, top industrialists of various sectors which include petrochemical, textile, garments, renewable energy, agriculture, food and tourism also participated in the conclave, he added.

“Discussions were held with industrialists. Due to Madhya Pradesh’s favourable industry policy and industry-friendly atmosphere, investment proposals are getting passed continuously. I am happy to say that investors came to set up one unit here, but after seeing the atmosphere, the investor wished to take one more proposal,” CM said.
“In order to increase investment in the state and facilities, we have started our office in Coimbatore today which will work as a mediator between investors of that region and the MP government. Along with this, I have announced plans to open two more offices in Kolkata and Maharashtra as well. Investment of around Rs 23 000 crore has been received from Sagar Regional Industry Conclave and 27,875 job opportunities will be generated from it,” CM said.
He further briefed about the major industries investment details and job opportunities generated from it.
The Regional Industry Conclaves are being held in the state as a pre-event of the “Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025”.
GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year. The main objective of the GIS-2025 Summit is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and to include it among the leading states of the country by highlighting the capabilities, abundant resources and favourable industrial environment of the state.
The first edition of Regional Industry Conclave was organised in Ujjain on March 1 and 2 this year. Later, the conclave was held in Jabalpur on July 20 and then in Gwalior last month on August 28. (ANI)
