New Delhi: The much-awaited IIFA 2024 awards ceremony has begun at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. During the press conference on 27 September 2024, Bollywood celebrities added glitz and glamour to the event. A video of Kriti Sanon caught everyone’s eye.

Kriti Sanon made a stylish entrance at the press conference for the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), showcasing a classic black and gold look from Chanel’s Fall Winter 2024/25 collection. This exquisite outfit was previously worn by Gigi Hadid on the runway, underscoring Kriti’s position as a fashion icon.

Styled by Sukriri Grover, Kriti’s ensemble featured an all-black outfit that included a sleek turtleneck paired with a semi-sheer long skirt, cinched at the waist with a skinny belt. She accessorised with plenty of gold jewellery and completed the look with elegant Louboutins. Kriti’s hair was styled in a chic ponytail adorned with a black bow and a white camellia, while her makeup featured kohl-rimmed eyes and perfectly sculpted eyebrows, enhancing her sophisticated appearance.

Kriti’s outfit was a ribbed skivvy dress with a fitted silhouette and asymmetrical hem, trailing with a sultry sheer panel, also in black. Cinched at the waist with a belt and paired with Louboutin boots, stacked gold cuffs, and a layered metal necklace, her look was completed with meticulous attention to detail.

Prior to Kriti taking this look live, Gigi Hadid sported the same piece on the runway for the Parisian luxury fashion house earlier this year in March, during their Fall/Winter 2024 fashion show. While Gigi’s blonde locks were tucked away in a neat, wintery bun, Kriti opted for blow-dried tresses, giving a fresh twist to the ensemble.

IIFA 2024

IIFA 2024 is a three-day event from 27th September to 29th September. Day 1, featuring the IIFA Utsavam, will honour the South film industry. The main awards night will be held on Day 2, followed by IIFA Rocks for the music industry on Day 3. Shahid Kapoor and Rekha will entertain the audience with their performances.
