India-bound 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX breaks cover — What’s new? – Bike News
Kawasaki has unveiled the updated Ninja 1100 SX, which gets a host of updates and is expected to come to India later this year.
Kawasaki has taken the wraps off the updated Ninja SX, which now gets a larger displacement engine. The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX gets a number of small changes which add up to make the motorcycle new for 2025. The motorcycle will come to India and there is no doubt about that since the Japanese manufacturer sells its entire product range here.
New Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX — What’s new?
Let’s start with the design first. The updated Ninja 1100 SX looks identical to the older model, retaining its identical design. The 2025 Ninja SX retains its comfortable yet forward-leaning ergonomics, which has made the motorcycle a popular tourer.
Moving on to hardware, the new Ninja 1100 SX gets USD forks, a monoshock at the rear, 17-inch wheels, LED lighting, a TFT dash with phone connectivity, power modes, traction control, ABS, cruise control, and more. The 2025 model gets larger brakes, while the SE version gets fully adjustable Ohlins suspension and Brembo Monoblock callipers.

The next big update the Ninja 1100 SX gets is, of course, the engine. The motorcycle gets a 1099cc, liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine that makes 136bhp and 113Nm of torque. The engine is tweaked for better torque delivery, while the quickshifter mated to the 6-speed gearbox is tuned for low-speed riding.
In terms of India launch, Kawasaki has not specified a date, however, we expect the Japanese bike maker to launch it during India Bike Week, scheduled to take place in December this year.
