A federal judge has pronounced a ruling that will let the Biden administration move forward with the relief of students’ loans. US President Joe Biden will move forward with to forgive students’ loans as the new rule of a federal judge has let a temporary order expire on it.

Joe Biden may move forward with the plan of forgiving student debt just weeks before the US presidential election, and it will also deliver relief to the millions of Americans. As per an estimate by the Center for American Progress, the plan of the Biden administration could benefit many students as well as every four federal student loan holders when it is aligned to the administration’s previous effort, as per CNBC.

Republican former president George W. Bush has appointed U.S. District Judge Randal Hall in Georgia, who has given rule in favor of Biden administration on late Wednesday. The declaration came as an important win for the current administration to forgive the debts of students. Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, North Dakota, and Ohio have challenged the Biden administration’s plan of forgiving students’ loans by filing a lawsuit.

Lawsuit filed against Biden administration

A spokesperson from the department of education has given thanks to the judge regarding the recognition that the lawsuit brought against student loan relief has no legal standing in the state. The spokesperson backlashed the legal action. According to the spokesperson filing the lawsuit, it is the worst political attempt by Republican officials to cancel the financial relief for millions of constituents struggling with student loans, as per Reuters.
