Young Professional Hospitality at India Trade Promotion Organisation

India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), a premier trade promotion agency under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, providing wide spectrum of services to trade and industry and acting as a catalyst for growth of India’s trade and commerce, has invited applications for engagement of two ‘Young Professional (Hospitality)’ purely on a contractual basis through open market.

The position is primarily for ITPO HQs located at New Delhi. However, ITPO may post the YP to any of its Regional Offices.

The period of engagement would be initially for a period of one year, but extendable on yearly basis up to maximum period of 3 years, subject to performance evaluation of the YP and need of the organisation.

Educational Qualification: Essential- Applicant should hold MBA/PG Degree or Diploma/ PGDM in Hospitality/ Tourism/Travel/Event Management with minimum 70% marks or equivalent grade from a Govt. recognised Institute/ University. Applicant should have minimum 2 years post qualification work experience related to hospitality/event management in 5 star rated hotels by the Hotel & Restaurant Approval & Classification Committee (HRACC), Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India OR minimum 2 years post qualification work experience related to hospitality/event management in in Govt./State Govt./CPSE/ Autonomous Body. The period of Ph.D./Research/Fellowship/Internship will not be counted as an experience.

Desirable: Diploma or Certificate of foreign language course from a recognised Institute/University, other than English, for a minimum period of six months.

Age limit (as on closing date of application) is 32 years. Consolidated monthly remuneration (subject to statutory deductions) will be Rs. 60,000/-.
