New Delhi: Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has unveiled an innovative Extended Warranty Program offering unlimited mileage coverage for up to seven years. This new initiative is designed to enhance customer experience by providing long-term peace of mind, regardless of how far they drive. It is a major step forward for the Indian automobile market, especially for those who rely on their cars for both daily commutes and long-distance travel.

Honda’s Extended Warranty: Models Included

The warranty is available for petrol variants of Honda’s current models, including the Elevate, City, City e:HEV, and Amaze. It is also extended to petrol variants of discontinued models like the Civic, Jazz, and WR-V, provided customers are already enrolled in Honda’s Extended Warranty Program.

According to Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Honda Cars India Ltd., “This program underscores Honda’s commitment to improving the customer ownership experience. The seven-year unlimited mileage warranty ensures our customers can drive without worrying about limitations, thanks to Honda’s renowned quality and reliability.”

Honda’s Extended Warranty: Features

Key features of the warranty include unlimited kilometers, ensuring no mileage restrictions throughout the coverage period. Customers can sign up for this plan within two years of purchasing a new car or extend existing warranties, making it a flexible option for various driving needs. For those with a four- or five-year extended warranty, coverage can be further extended to seven years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

This extended warranty is also transferable, adding a significant advantage during vehicle resale. With access to Honda’s nationwide service network, customers can be assured that their vehicles will be maintained and repaired by certified technicians using genuine parts, at no additional cost for parts or labour.
