The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Bulgaria are ready from Friday for immediate humanitarian aid to Bosnia and Herzegovina, BGNES reported.

In connection with the devastating floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which claimed the lives of dozens of citizens and caused material damage, the Bulgarian government is considering the possibility of providing immediate humanitarian aid. Communication has been taking place since Friday, October 4, in the first hours after the disaster, the press center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

In coordination with the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Sarajevo, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Staff clarify the concrete needs of the affected Balkan country for humanitarian aid. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivan Kondov, requested such information from his Bosnian counterpart.

The Defense Headquarters is in contact with the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the necessary engineering equipment and funds to be provided. I BGNES
