Top Finalists Announced for Antigua Barbuda Global Music & Media Awards
Awards Show Set to Reveal Finalists Across Three Key Segments
Antigua and Barbuda – The much-anticipated 10th Annual Antigua Barbuda Global Music & Media Awards (ABGMA) is excited to announce that the Top Finalists for the Island Groove Awards, Media Awards, and Gospel Music Awards will be revealed on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM AST. The announcement will take place via ABGMA’s official Facebook and Instagram pages.
With over 60 categories and 245, 143 votes casted across the three segments, the finalists represent the pinnacle of creative and media excellence:
- Island Groove Awards: Featuring 18 categories with 4-6 finalists per category.
- Media Awards: Highlighting 21 categories with 4-6 finalists in each.
- Gospel Music Awards: Showcasing 25 categories, with finalists ranging from 4-6 per category.
The full list of finalists will showcase the diverse talent in music, media, and entertainment from Antigua, the Caribbean, and beyond.
Empowerment Summit and Artist Showcase Preceding the Awards
The ABGMA will kick off on Thursday, November 28, 2024, with an Empowerment Summit, preceding the Embark Gospel Voice-Caribbean Edition Artist Showcase. The Summit will feature inspiring talks from industry professionals, including:
- Andrew “Smilus” Dorsett – Local Producer, Songwriter, and Musician.
- Lady C – Multi-Award-Winning Gospel Hip-Hop Artist, Entrepreneur, and Co-Founder of Embark Nation Distribution & Publishing (USA).
- Shoggy Shoggz – Multi-Award-Winning Singer/Songwriter, Radio/TV Host, and Founder of Shoggy PR (UK).
The Summit will be hosted by Dr. Apostle Stanshaw Cornelius, Founder and Chairperson of ABGMA and President/CEO of So Arise Music International.
