EPB holds meeting to strengthen bilateral trade with countries 

DHAKA, Oct 7, 2024 (BSS) – The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) today held a meeting with commercial counsellors of different embassies to Bangladesh to strengthen bilateral trade with different countries and enhance the EPB’s involvement with Trade promotion organizations (TPOs).

Md Anwar Hossain, EPB vice-chairman, presided over the meeting at the conference room of the EPB in the city, said a press release.

Participants at the meeting informed that EPB has taken different steps for organising the Dhaka International Trade Fair 2025 and they called suggestions to make the trade fair more effective. 

They also highlighted on tariff and customs clearance issues to facilitate the participation of foreign companies at the trade fair.

 

The delegates participating in the meeting laid emphasis on organising ‘Industry Fair’ for exhibiting various technological innovations on B2B basis.

Md Anwar Hossain urged all the commercial counsellors to inform EPB about the products demand of their country and the compliance issues related to the export of those products.
