Smith Joins KeyBank as Commercial Sales Leader

KeyBank has announced that Chris Smith has joined the Eastern Pennsylvania Commercial Sales Team as commercial sales leader. In this new role, he will build cohesion, collaboration and lead a team of middle market lenders charged with growing existing and new commercial client relationships throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Northern Delaware.

Smith brings more than 25 years of commercial lending and sales leadership experience to Key. His commercial banking experience also includes leadership positions in the commercial lending space with OceanFirst, Provident Bank, Bryn Mawr Trust, TD Bank, and Wachovia Bank, among others.

Smith is involved in his community, serving as chairman of the Philadelphia Montessori Charter School board of directors, was a former board member for Riddle Hospital’s Foundation and enjoys coaching youth sports in his community. He also hosted a live call-in radio show called “Financial Voices” geared toward financial literacy, volunteerism, smart investing and general business and consumer questions for people in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties.
