Informa Markets in India, concluded the 12th edition of the Delhi Jewellery & Gem Fair (DJGF) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. This year’s edition, the largest in the event’s history, dazzled attendees with over 650 exhibitors, presenting an extraordinary selection of traditional and contemporary jewellery designs from 700 pioneering brands.

Boasting more than 150,000 pieces, the event offered an unparalleled display of craftsmanship, featuring a diverse array of materials such as gold, silver, diamonds, pearls, and gemstones, alongside cutting-edge innovations in jewellery design and production technologies. A special highlight was the DJGF Silver Show, located in Hall No. 2, showcasing a captivating array of silver jewellery. Additionally, one of the largest collections of gold, Polki, and diamond jewellery was spotlighted, with esteemed brands from the natural loose diamond sector taking centre stage.

As the ultimate platform for jewellers, import-export merchants, and key industry stakeholders, DJGF drew over 25,000 professionals, setting the stage for the upcoming festive season, including Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali, and the all-important wedding season—a time of heightened demand in the jewellery sector across India.

The inauguration of the event saw a stellar lineup of dignitaries, including Pramod Derewala, Chairman of NGJIC; Naveen Kumar, Chairman of TBJA; Ashok Sheth, Regional Chairman (North India) for GJEPC; Nirupa Bhatt, a leading Gems and Jewellery Industry Expert; Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India; Pallavi Mehra, Senior Group Director, Informa Markets in India; and Pankaj Shende, Group Director, Informa Markets in India, among other notable industry leaders.

Pramod Derewala, Chairman, NGJIC said, “It was a privilege to be part of this prestigious gathering. The theme, “Celebrating Craftsmanship and Innovation,” underscored the seamless blend of traditional artistry with modern techniques. Attendees participated in engaging panel discussions on topics such as ‘Women in Power, Women Empower,’ ‘The Future of Responsible Sourcing: Challenges and Opportunities,’ and ‘The Changing Landscape of the Jewellery Industry.’ Presentations spanned areas such as customer experience in retail jewellery, top retail and colour trends shaping the market, and new opportunities in the gems and jewellery export sector.

Aligned with Informa Markets in India’s 5th ‘Festivity of Business’ campaign, the DJGF integrated seamlessly with the season’s vibrant series of signature events running from September to December, fostering connections, meaningful dialogue, and collaborative relationships that drive the industry’s collective growth.
