Bluebird Music Festival will return to Boulder, CO for its sixth year on April 18th–20th, 2025 with a lineup featuring Watchhouse, Bruce Hornsby, The Tallest Man on Earth, Hiss Golden Messenger, and more.

The weekend will kick off with a private Opening Night Gala on Friday, April 18th with performances by Bruce Hornsby, former lead singer of The Fray, Isaac Slade, and special guests. Though the gala is invitation only, those who purchase a weekend pass will receive an invitation to this intimate evening of music and a “VERY special announcement.”

On Saturday, April 19th the festival will begin in earnest at Macky Auditorium with a lineup of Hornsby, Hiss Golden Messenger, and Mipso.  Then Sunday afternoon will feature a Strings & Stories event, starting at 1:00 p.m., offering a more laid-back vibe with acoustic sets and storytelling from Watchhouse, The Tallest Man on Earth, Hiss Golden Messenger, and Neffy. The music will continue Sunday evening with performances by Watchhouse, The Tallest Man on Earth, and Wrenn Van Band.

“There are many music festivals and events out there, and it is not lost on us how special this has become,” Bluebird founder Travis Albright shared in a note thanking the Bluebird Family for their support over the past six years. “A little festival, with no corporate backing, has found solid footing when (unfortunately) so many festivals are closing their doors. This is because of you, our Bluebird Family. When so much of this country is possibly more divided than ever, this festival continues to bring all types of people together. I have seen so many friendships form at this event over the years, and I look forward to us all growing old together. This is still the beginning, and more big things are coming.”
