New Delhi, October 16: Ola Electric, the electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has reportedly selected EY India for a project to improve its customer service amid rising complaints and regulatory scrutiny. As per reports, the collaboration is said to be because Ola Electric receives many customer complaints on a monthly basis.

CEO Bhavish Aggarwal is said to be taking an approach to this initiative, which is expected to enhance after-sales support and address the issues. The partnership is anticipated to help Ola Electric expand its service network and improve the customer experience, which has allegedly become increasingly critical for the company. Bhavish Aggarwal Highlights Strong Festive Season Start as Customers Shift to EVs, Plans To Expand Service Capacity.

As per a report of Business Today, Ola Electric is teaming up with EY India to address after-sales challenges amid an increase in customer complaints. These issues have been a growing concern for the company, particularly in light of recent regulatory scrutiny. The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has sent a show-cause notice to Ola Electric for reportedly violating consumer rights and unresolved after-sales problems.

The partnership with EY India will likely focus on streamlining customer service processes and addressing complaints related to its electric two-wheelers. Ola Electric is expected to address concerns with the help of EY India’s consultancy expertise with a focus on improving customer experience. The need for better service has become more urgent, as customer complaints have reportedly risen to 80,000 each month. A major problem is said to be the lack of spare parts and service staff. According to reports, EY India will help Ola Electric to improve its operations by focusing on better spare parts management and enhancing customer support in areas with few service centres. EY team members may work with Ola Electric on a 3-month project, which could be extended if it proves successful.
