Hyundai motor India launches “Space Bhi. Mileage Bhi.” Campaign for Exter and Grand i10 NIOS Hy-CNG Duo

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has introduced a new campaign titled “Space Bhi. Mileage Bhi.” to promote its Dual Cylinder CNG technology. This campaign follows the recent launch of the Exter and Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo, reflecting the company’s focus on innovation and sustainable mobility solutions. The campaign aims to highlight the convenience offered by the Hy-CNG Duo technology, which combines expanded boot space with efficient fuel consumption.

Hyundai has crafted this campaign to underline the advantages of its Dual Cylinder CNG technology, particularly emphasizing its practicality. The campaign presents the Hy-CNG Duo’s benefits and addresses common perceptions about CNG vehicles. According to Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole Time Director & Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor India Limited, the company’s CNG-powered vehicles made up 13% of its total sales in September 2024. The dual-cylinder CNG technology in the Exter and Grand i10 Nios contributed to 25% and 20% of sales, respectively. The campaign highlights the balance between spacious interiors and fuel efficiency in these vehicles, which aim to meet customer expectations for eco-friendly and high-performance mobility.

The television commercial (TVC) portrays a relatable storyline centered around a family wedding, showcasing the Exter Hy-CNG Duo’s ample boot space and fuel efficiency. The message, “Space Bhi. Mileage Bhi.,” is conveyed through this simple yet engaging context.

The campaign will be promoted through various channels, including digital and social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. It is designed to increase website traffic and video views, targeting auto enthusiasts, family-oriented individuals, and travel-focused audiences.

Both the Exter and Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo are powered by a 1.2-liter bi-fuel (petrol with CNG) engine, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Exter delivers a mileage of 27.1 km/kg, while the Grand i10 Nios offers 26.9 km/kg, according to ARAI testing. The vehicles come with a factory-fitted CNG system placed under the luggage board, allowing for practical use of boot space while meeting customer travel needs.
