Putting eclectic contemporary music in the spotlight

The International Alliance of Women in Music is hosting their annual concert right here in Duluth. Two UMD faculty members, Dr. Justin Rubin and Dr. Paula Gudmundson, joined Good Morning Northland to tell our viewers what to expect to hear at the performance. The concert is held on October 19th at UMD’s Weber Music Hall.

UMD is hosting the annual International Alliance for Women in Music concert on Saturday, October 19th, at 7:30 p.m. in Weber Music Hall. The musical fusion of performers and composers will showcase talent from across the globe. The IAWM works to increase awareness of women’s musical contributions globally.

If you want to attend, tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for seniors. UMD students and staff will get in free with a valid student ID. If you can’t make it but would still like to show your support, you can watch the live stream here.
