Amanda Seyfried at the Giorgio Armani Show in New York

Amanda Seyfried joined a bevy of A-list guests for Giorgio Armani‘s women’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection fashion show in New York City. Before Thursday’s show, the “Mank” Oscar nominee hit the red carpet and posed for photos.

For the occasion, Seyfried brought a dark, whimsical edge with flower power to the red carpet in a Giorgio Armani look. She wore a long-sleeve jacket inspired by an elongated blazer silhouette, featuring subtle black lapels, coordinated cuffs and sharp shoulders.

The jacket showcased a cinched waist with a button closure and an ornately embroidered whimsical floral design on the black fabric. Greens and creams contrasted against the black, scattered throughout the design of the outerwear piece.

Seyfried wore a coordinated minidress with floral embroidery in shades of purple and lilac under the intricate jacket. She paired the dress with black heels featuring an asymmetric vamp.

Seyfried’s glam included a dark smoky eye, bold brows and a pop of color from her pink lip, curated by makeup artist Genevieve Herr. Her hair, styled by DJ Quintero, featured soft waves with a side part and was worn over one shoulder.

Seyfried’s entire look was curated by stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who has also worked with Cate Blanchett, Viola Davis, Elizabeth Olsen and Zoey Deutch.

Giorgio Armani’s women’s spring 2025 rtw showcase took place in-time with the opening of Armani’s new home at 760 Madison Avenue in New York City. “This trip to New York carries a deeply personal significance for me, even more so than my last visit, as it coincides with two milestones: I have just turned 90 and my company is about to celebrate 50 years,” Armani told WWD prior to the show.

“I am approaching this journey like a cinematic experience, recalling the films that captivated me in my youth and shaped my aesthetic.”

The spring 2025 rtw show featured “sportswear, including beige and greige unstructured men’s tailoring and summer linens that could have sprung from the brand’s 1980s and ‘90s ads. The designer’s trademark liquid-y women’s pantsuits and relaxed jackets added to the collection’s overall claim of quiet luxury,” per Emily Mercer’s reporting for WWD.
