Michigan Football falls out the AP top-25 for the first time since 2021

For the first time since before Aidan Hutchinson, Josh Ross, Hassan Haskins, and others helped turn the football program into a legitimate contender, the Michigan Wolverines have dropped completely outside the AP Poll’s top-25 in college football.

Losing to Illinois (which now slots in at No. 20) not only dropped Michigan to a 4-3 record on the year but also completely outside the top-25.

The Oregon Ducks moved to the No. 1 after a convincing win over Purdue on Friday night. Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Indiana moved up to No. 13 after crushing Nebraska, 56-7.
