Samsung Galaxy A16 5G Launched in India With Super AMOLED Display, Dimensity 6300 SoC; Here’s All You Need To Know

Mumbai, October 20: Samsung launched its new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, in India. It has an sAMOLED display and MediaTek’s mid-range processor Dimensity 6300. The Galaxy A16 5G retains the same design as the other models in the series, with a classic triple camera setup on the rear. On the front, it has a water-drop notch instead of a camera-hole punch. 

Samsung Galaxy A16 5G price starts at INR 18,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant, and the 8GB+256GB variant is priced at INR 21,999. The smartphone is available in Blue, Black, Gold and Light Green shades. Samsung Galaxy A16 5G Specifications and Features 

Samsung has launched its new Galaxy A16 5G with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080×2340 pixel resolution. It includes a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 mobile processor that achieves around 4 lakh AnTuTu scores. Customers can get up to 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 1.5TB using a microSD card. Samsung will offer users up to six years of OS upgrades and security updates. 

The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G includes a 50MP+5MP+2MP camera setup on the rear with support for up to 10x digital zoom and 120fps HD slow-motion video. On the front, the device gets a 13MP camera that can record up to 1080p Full HD videos at 30fps. The new Galaxy A16 5G includes a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. This smartphone comes with all the necessary 5G bands and supports products like Galaxy Ring, earbuds, watches, and more. The smartphone will receive security updates until September 30, 2030.
