Railways Launch 14 Special Trains to Delhi for Diwali and Chhath Festival Rush | Patna News

Patna: To cope with the huge Diwali-Chhath rush, railways started operations of 14 more pairs of special passenger trains to Delhi, originating from or passing through different places under the jurisdiction of East Central Railway (ECR) from Tuesday, taking the total number to 142, said chief public relations officer (CPRO) Saraswati Chandra.
Among the 14 new special passenger trains, two each are from Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga, and three each from Jayanagar and Barauni.While Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar has been put into operation daily till January 1, another train on the route will run every Monday and Thursday from the national capital till November 14, and every Tuesday and Friday from the Bihar city till November 15.

Reservations are now open.
