FM meeting discusses 2025 humanitarian needs & response plans

A meeting was held on Saturday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Jamal Amer, Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Sadiadi, Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Shiban, Electricity, Energy and Water, Dr. Ali Saif Mohammed, and Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Radwan Al-Rabaei.

The meeting discussed the objectives of the ministries’ humanitarian needs and response plans for the year 2025, which will be prepared in partnership with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

The meeting reviewed the remarks of the concerned ministers about the existing issues in the approved projects for the year 2024, and emphasized the importance of identifying priority projects according to the needs of the community, especially in the districts and areas most in need.

The meeting stressed the importance of UN offices and international organizations adhering to the main determinants of the development of the needs , humanitarian response plans, the rules governing the work of the UN, its agencies, programs , funds, and international organizations operating in Yemen.
