Courtland 3, Hanover 1: Carolina Eastlake had 13 kills, six blocks and 15 digs, and Aubrey Parker totaled 22 assists and seven kills to help Courtland get a 25-23, 25-18, 18-25, 25-22 nondistrict home win against Region 4B rival Hanover on Thursday night.
Makailah Ford contributed nine kills, five aces and two blocks, and Juliana Velez chipped in 20 digs for the Cougars (20-2), who will try and close out an unbeaten Battlefield District regular season at King George on Monday.
Colonial Forge 3, Stafford 0: Jasmine Williams had eight kills and three blocks, and Noemie Fennewald provided six kills to help Colonial Forge get a 25-6, 25-13, 25-18 Commonwealth Distric quarterfinal win.
Kendal Walker and Carly Ford contributed five aces apiece for the Eagles (12-4), who travel to Massaponax for Tuesday’s semifinals.
