Here Is Every MCU Movie Release Date, From ‘Captain America 4’ To ‘Secret Wars’

Thunderbolts

Marvel

Marvel has had nebulous release windows for most of its movie projects for a long while now, but after a lot of shuffling and rumors, they are now finally laying out the schedule after an almost completely empty year, just Deadpool and Wolverine (we are obviously not counting the three Sony Spider-Man-Villain-Verse movies).

Here is the schedule which now includes the likes of Spider-Man 4, which is surprisingly being slotted in between the upcoming Avengers movies, which likely implies a central role for his character in at least the second one. We have:

  • Captain America: Brave New World — February 14, 2025
  • Thunderbolts — May 2, 2025
  • Fantastic Four — July 25, 2025
  • Avengers: Doomsday — May 1, 2026
  • Spider-Man 4 — July 24, 2026
  • Avengers: Secret Wars — May 7, 2027

So we kick off with Captain America: Brave New World in three and a half months, then it’s six films in a little over two years, back to somewhat standard Marvel cadence after this “break.” Albeit it’s been a very good break given that Deadpool and Wolverine had high scores and made a billion dollars at the box office, and Agatha All Along is probably the best MCU series they’ve done.

Fantastic Four

Marvel

We know Fantastic Four is now done shooting, though obviously there is then a pretty big gap between that and Avengers, July 2025 to May 2026, nearly a full year. In that interim time when promotion ramps up, we will no doubt start getting clues about what exactly is going on with this Robert Downey Jr. Doctor Doom idea that remains somewhat baffling.

We have gotten full trailers for Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts at this point, so Fantastic Four will be next. At some point. Probably not until the new year, or maybe even after Brave New World, who knows.

One significant MCU entry is not on this list, because it’s a TV show, Daredevil: Born Again, which his out in March of 2025 right after Brave New World and before Thunderbolts. I very much doubt it will have anything to do with those films, but it’s something fans have been waiting to see for years and quite literally willed into existence, convincing Disney to not leave the Netflix hero roster behind, especially Matt Murdock.

2025 will also mark the true beginning of the DCU, with James Gunn’s Superman out on July 11, 2025. The assumption is that at the very least it’s going to be better than the DCEU, and if so, Marvel may finally have some actual competition. And lord knows Marvel has had some misses the past few years. It would be nice if they could stabilize in the next few.
