It all started with a question. Two years ago, Conor McManus was like any other sixth-year student, preparing for his mock exams ahead of the Leaving Certificate, hoping to get enough points for UCD and enjoying his football with Bray Wanderers.

One day, he and his mother were in the car on the way to the Carlisle Grounds when she put a question to him. The Cabinteely native didn’t know it yet, but his life was about to change completely.
