CSS football falls to Carleton in home battle

After two games away, College of St. Scholastica football returned to their home turf to battle Carlton College.

Carlton struck first, putting two touchdowns on the board in the first quarter. the Saints would attempt to close the gap with a touchdown of their own in the second quarter, but the Knights would remain on the offensive until the end – only allowing CSS to bring in two total touchdowns in the game. The Saints fell 35-14, bringing their season record to 2-5.

CSS will return on Saturday, November 2nd at 1pm to battle the undefeated St. John’s University Johnnies at Walt Hunting Stadium-Marv Heikkinen Field in Duluth.
