India and Spain strengthened their bilateral relations by signing several memorandums of understanding (MOUs) during a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez in Vadodara, Gujarat, on Monday. The discussions, held at the historic Laxmi Vilas Palace, included topics such as the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia.

In addressing the situation in Ukraine, PM Modi emphasised India’s long-standing belief that conflicts should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy, stating, “This is not the time for war.” He reiterated the need for direct discussions between the involved parties.
