Caribs, Devil Rays to meet in H.S. tackle football | Sports
Only one game is on the schedule this weekend – weather permitting — in the V.I. Education Department’s high school tackle football league.
Central High School’s Caribs (2-1) are set to host Ivanna Eudora Kean High School’s Devil Rays (2-0) at the CHS field at 3 p.m. Saturday.
The weekend’s second game, between Educational Complex High School’s Barracudas (0-3) facing Charlotte Amalie High School’s Hawks (1-1) on Saturday at Lionel Roberts Stadium on St. Thomas, has been postponed. No reschedule date has been set yet.
This is the second straight game involving Charlotte Amalie High that has been postponed. The Hawks’ scheduled game against rival Ivanna Eudora Kean High last week was also called off, and has since been rescheduled for Friday, Nov. 29.
