Emily Ratajkowski Recreates Jennifer Lopez’s Green Versace Dress for Halloween 2024
Emily Ratajkowski is paying homage to Jennifer Lopez this Halloween — while also having a bit of light-hearted fun.
On Thursday, Oct. 31, the model, 33, shared content to her social media accounts channeling different eras of J. Lo.
Wearing a green dress similar to the Versace silk chiffon gown the “Get Right” singer, 55, wore to the Grammys on Feb. 23, 2000, Ratajkowski also wore her hair in the same pinned-back style.
The U.K. native began with a couple of posts to her TikTok, lip-syncing viral moments from the movie star.
“Go-to order at the bodega was ham and cheese on a roll with an orange drink. If you know, you know, and small bag of chips,” Ratajkowski mouthed as the camera backed away to reveal her full outfit.

The audio was pulled from a 2022 “73 Questions” interview with Vogue.
“The orange drink was basically… it’s just a plain orange drink. It came in a little plastic container with a little bit of aluminum foil over it. And it wasn’t called anything except orange drink or grape drink or whatever,” Lopez later told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview published on May 29.
Ratajkowski’s second TikTok came from a more recent interview with Lopez.
This time, Ratajkowski mouthed, “I like to leave my hair out like this. It reminds me when I was like, 16, in the Bronx, running up and down the block. That crazy little girl who used to be f—— wild, and no limits, all dreams and s—.”

The audio was from the “Jenny from the Block” singer’s romantic drama musical film, This Is Me… Now: A Love Story, which was released on Feb. 16 via Amazon Prime Video, and is the multimedia companion for her album of the same name.
Ratajkowski shared a third Lopez-inspired post to her Instagram page, which included a carousel of the model wearing the green gown, posing in various frames as she stood in front of a window.

“No limits all dreams,” she captioned the post.
Earlier this year, Lopez spoke with Vogue about how her former stylist, Andrea Lieberman, initially begged the movie star not to wear her iconic Versace dress to the 2000 Grammys.
“It was a dress that other people had worn already. My stylist was like, ‘Please don’t wear it. Somebody else has worn it.’ I was like, ‘Well, you bought it, and it looks the best, so I’m going to wear it.’ And so I did. And it caused quite a stir,” the Unstoppable actress said, reflecting on 17 of her biggest fashion moments during the interview.
The memorable dress went on to be the reason Google Images was created.
