Fashion Dot showcases innovative tailoring CAD software at GTE 2024

Fashion Dot Young Laser India Pvt. Ltd., which specialises in custom-tailoring solutions, introduced its advanced tailoring CAD software and laser cutting machines, at the Garment Technology Expo (GTE) 2024 held in Bangalore recently.

Speaking to Fibre2Fashion, D Gopalakrishnan, Managing Director, Fashion Dot Young Laser India, explained that the technology enables tailors to input customer measurements, automatically generating cutting diagrams, saving time, and eliminating manual drawing. “The software can be paired with a laser cutting machine, which directly cuts fabrics, improving accuracy and efficiency.”

Gopalakrishnan highlighted that this innovation replaces the need for high-cost cutting masters, thus reducing costs in custom tailoring. “Fashion Dot continues to adapt to market trends by frequently updating its software to include new garment models. The products are also environmentally friendly, as they directly cut fabrics with minimal waste,” he said.
