Kia India sees strong festive sales with 28,545 deliveries in October

Kia India marked a successful October with 28,545 vehicle deliveries, reflecting a 30% year-on-year increase from the 21,941 units delivered in October 2023. In addition, the company consolidated its dispatches with 22,753 units for the month.

Data from the Vahan portal indicates that over 28,545 customers, excluding those in Telangana, received their Kia vehicles during October, aligning with the festive season. Among them, 54 customers celebrated Diwali with the newly introduced Kia Carnival Limousine Plus.

Kia India also reported robust international demand, with exports reaching 2,042 units in October. This growth reflects Kia’s focus on producing vehicles that cater to both domestic and global markets.

Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, commented on the company’s commitment to meeting rising demand through faster deliveries and efficient inventory management in collaboration with dealer partners. This strategy, he noted, is designed to enhance customer satisfaction while supporting stable dealer operations. He also highlighted Kia’s recent product launches, including the Carnival Limousine Plus and the Kia EV9, as part of the company’s initiative, “Kia 2.0,” aimed at promoting future-oriented mobility solutions.

Kia India’s offerings span a range of segments, from compact SUVs to multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs). The lineup includes models like the Kia Seltos, Sonet, Carens, and the Carnival, each tailored for different needs. The Seltos, one of Kia’s key models, combines multiple engine choices, safety features, and a technology-focused interior, catering to SUV buyers in India.

The Kia Sonet is a compact SUV suitable for urban drivers looking for a feature-rich and fuel-efficient vehicle. The Kia Carens, a three-row vehicle, is designed for families, offering flexible seating and a focus on passenger safety.

Kia’s Carnival MPV, including the newly introduced Limousine Plus variant, is intended for customers seeking additional space and comfort. Recently, Kia has also entered the Indian electric vehicle market with the Kia EV9.
