The Georgia native posted a photo of a sticker that says, “I voted early,” and is seemingly registered to vote in the state of New York as the sticker read, “Vote NYC.”
Moretz began her caption by explaining that she feels strongly about reproductive freedom and believes Harris will safeguard those rights. “I voted early and I voted for Kamala Harris. There is so much on the line this election. I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor. Kamala Harris will protect that for us,” the Peripheral alum penned.
The People’s Choice Award winner also cited LGBTQ+ rights as part of why she is supporting Harris before subsequently sharing that she identifies as gay. “I believe in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman,” Moretz wrote. “We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve.”
The starlet ended her caption by encouraging fans and followers to make a voting plan and get out to the polls early. “SO… Are you voting early? Let’s get a plan together to get to your polling place with your friends! Go to IWillVote.com to figure out the best plan for you,” Moretz stated.
