Mancherial: Vidya Singh, a student from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya-Mancherial has qualified to take part in the Sakura Science Exchange programme to be organized by the Science and Technology Agency in Japan from November 10 to 16. She was felicitated by Collector Kumar Deepak here on Monday.
Officials raised financial aid of Rs 9,000 with the help of local donors for helping the student in meeting some personal expenses. They handed over the funds to her.
Additional Collector (Revenue) S Motilal, District Educational Officer S Yadaiah and District Science Officer S Madhu Babu congratulated the student.
