Cast your vote for the Cheboygan Tribune Athlete of the Week for Oct. 28-Nov. 2

CHEBOYGAN – It’s time to vote for the Cheboygan Daily Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.    

Each week, Cheboygan area high school athletes will be eligible for the Athlete of the Week honor. Athlete of the week polls go live on Tuesday morning and voting closes at 11 p.m. on Thursday night. The athlete of the week will be announced on Friday.  

Here’s a look at this week’s nominees:  

Makaela Steiner, Cheboygan Volleyball – Tallied 54 assists, 30 digs, five kills and two aces in matches against Inland Lakes, Charlevoix and Sault Ste. Marie.  

Aidan Fenstermaker, Inland Lakes Football – Threw three touchdown passes and rushed for a TD in a playoff victory over Montabella.  

Kerry-Ann Ming, Mackinaw City Volleyball – Registered 30 kills, 23 service points, 33 digs, 11 aces and two blocks at the Peninsula Championship tournament.

Sadie Decker, Onaway Volleyball – Had seven kills, seven aces and nine digs in Presque Isle wins over Rogers City and Posen.  

Breanna Willis, Pellston Volleyball – Recorded 29 assists, seven kills, eight aces and 11 digs in wins over Rudyard and Mackinaw City.
