The Lindenwood football team (4-6, 3-3 BS/OVC) prepares for a matchup with No. 6 Southeast Missouri State (8-1, 5-0 BS/ OVC) on Saturday in the third-annual MRV Banks Game Ball Brawl. It will also be Senior Day for the Lions as kickoff from Hunter Stadium is slated for 1:00 p.m.
Last week, the Black & Gold dropped a road matchup with Tennessee Tech, 52-10. Darrin Fugitt accounted for the lone Lindenwood touchdown as the Bolivar, Mo. native found the endzone for the second-consecutive week after hauling in a 35-yard pass from Nate Glantz. Glantz has looked to find his tight ends more in recent weeks, with Abe Haerr leading the team in receiving against Western Illinois.
Logan Seibert was responsible for the other score on Saturday, nailing another field goal. The Belleville, Ill. native is now 14-of-17 on the season and has moved into a tie for third on the programs all-time scoring list with 275 points. He added to his program leading total of 42 made field goals.
Lindenwood will also honor its senior class on Saturday, which includes a mix of transfers and student-athletes who started their careers as members of the Black & Gold. 22 individuals will be recognized, including Vincent King and Jordan Knapke who have made immediate impacts since coming over in 2024.
Gareth Warren and Ethan Johnson have been mainstays on the offensive line during their time in St. Charles, Mo. Seibert, who is a redshirt junior will also be going through festivities
Southeast Missouri enters the matchup with an 8-1 record and a perfect 5-0 mark inside Association play. The No. 6 Redhawks are the highest-ranked team Lindenwood has played at the FCS level. When Lindenwood was a member of the GLVC, the Lions traveled to Brookings, S.D. to take on the Jackrabbits of South Dakota State when they were ranked No. 3.

LINDENWOOD TID BITS FROM AROUND THE LEAGUE
The Lions (4-6, 3-3 BS/OVC) are facing their third nationally ranked team this season in a matchup with No. 6 Southeast Missouri State (8-1, 5-0 BS/OVC) on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. Lindenwood will head to UT Martin in a couple of weeks to close out the season. The Skyhawks are currently ranked 22nd.
Steve Hall rushed for 259 yards and four TDs on just 13 carries ( =19.92 yards per rush) in the Lions’ win over Western Illinois in week 9. He tied the Big South-OVC single-game record for rushing scores, while his 259 is tied for second-most in a contest.
AT FIRST GLANTZ
Nate Glantz became just the second quarterback in Big South-OVC Association history to throw for 100 yards and rush for 100 yards in the same game when he achieved the feat in the Lions’ 29-14 victory over Charleston Southern. He passed for 152 yards and gained a team-high 103 yards on the ground to account for 255 of Lindenwood’s 392 offensive yards vs. the Bucs.
STUDY HALL
In Lindenwood’s 49-38 win over Western Illinois in week 9, Steve Hall rushed for 259 yards and four touchdowns on just 13 carries for a Big South-OVC single-game record 19.92 yards per carry. He tied the league’s single-game rushing touchdown record and reeled off the longest rush from scrimmage in the conference record book with a 93-yard scoring run that sealed the victory over the Leathernecks. Hall also had a 75-yard dash for a touchdown, becoming the first player in conference annals with two TD runs of 75-yards or longer in a game.
HOUSE CALLS
Jeff Caldwell tied the Big South-OVC Association records for consecutive games with a touchdown reception (4) as well as his own single-season touchdown receptions (8). His eight receiving scores this year came in a four-game span during Weeks 3-6, which included a Big South-OVC single-game record-tying four touchdown receptions in Week 5. For the season, Caldwell is reaching the end zone on 28.57 percent of his 28 receptions. Meanwhile, Caldwell is responsible for five of the Association’s longest pass plays in history:
