New Maruti Suzuki Dzire set to launch tomorrow; Here’s what to expect
Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s top car manufacturers, is set to launch the all-new Dzire subcompact sedan on November 11, 2024. The latest generation Dzire promises exciting upgrades, enhanced safety features, and improved performance with its new Z-series engine, which is also found in the Swift.
Here’s what to expect in the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire
The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be powered by the newly developed three-cylinder Z-series engine. Maruti Suzuki has made efforts to provide a smoother and more refined driving experience with this engine upgrade.
A major highlight of the new Dzire is its impressive safety rating. The car recently became the first Maruti Suzuki vehicle to earn a five-star rating for adult occupant protection in the Global New Car Assessment Programme (GNCAP) crash tests. With an exceptional score of 31.24 out of 34 for adult safety and 39.20 out of 49 for child safety, the Dzire has set a new benchmark in the subcompact sedan category.
In addition to its performance and safety enhancements, the new Dzire has several premium features that elevate the driving experience. With automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and wireless charging, the Dzire is designed to meet the needs of modern drivers. The sedan also offers an engine start/stop button for convenience and an electric sunroof, a first for this model.
The Dzire’s powertrain will be the same Z-series 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine that powers the Swift, producing 80.5 horsepower and 112 Nm. A CNG variant of the Dzire will also be available. The vehicle could come equipped with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
