Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that the Delhi government has failed to implement any measures to control pollution in Delhi.

Sachdeva said that the Delhi government has completely failed to control pollution, on the other hand, the people of Delhi are facing a greater threat than ever before from diseases caused by dirty drinking water as well as from chikungunya, dengue, and malaria.

“PM 2.5 level is above 400 and PM 10 level is above 1000 and Delhi has become a gas chamber where everyone except Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi and Gopal Rai is coughing,” Sachdeva said.

Sachdeva said that the report regarding the Okhla landfill site that cancer causing particles have been found in the air there is disturbing. Small children and the elderly are the biggest victims of pollution. The government should close schools up to class 5 and open pollution medicine clinics. Even after the big announcements made by the Environment Minister, water sprinklers or smog guns are not seen working anywhere in Delhi.

“The health model of the Delhi government has failed and the Atishi Marlena government has failed even more on pollution control than its predecessor Arvind Kejriwal government,” Sachdev said.
