During his India trip, Bryan Johnson experienced jet lags, prompting him to share some tips to tackle the problem.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Bryan Johnson wrote, “I love the culture of bakchodi in India. It perfectly captures my worldview: take your work seriously, not yourself.” (sic)

His tweet instantly resonated with many netizens, leading to lively and quirky exchanges on social media. Responding to his tweet, a user named Pratik Thakkar wrote, “how about jugaad? koi blueprint ka sasta jugaad batao” (sic)

He replied to a comment about “jugaad” — India’s celebrated frugal innovation — and shared his balanced view. “I like jugaad — most innovation comes from frugality. But if it means taking shortcuts, we are in trouble. Fixing air pollution in India will require an overhaul, can’t be done with jugaad.” Jugaad refers to a non-conventional, frugal innovation.

His comments about air pollution come at a critical time as metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai grapple with hazardous air quality levels. His statement aligns with the growing calls for sustainable, long-term solutions to address the crisis, which has been a key focus of his ongoing India visit.

Bryan Johnson on India’s air pollution

IT entrepreneur and longevity advocate Bryan Johnson met with well-known personalities like Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Anand Piramal, and Shloka Ambani while he was there. The discussions were centred on the future of health and longevity during the Little Nest community session.
