The shock society split on everyone’s lips at the GQ Men of the Year Awards as bombshell actress rocks up solo in a red hot ‘revenge dress’
Sorry fellas, it was supposed to be your night.
But all the attention at the star-studded GQ Men of the Year Awards in Sydney was entirely on one bombshell female.
Not even the presence of A-listers Lara Worthington and her actor husband Sam could keep eyes off Megan Mackenzie – and it wasn’t just because of her daring $11,300 red Versace leather corset ‘revenge dress’ that showcased her busty cleavage.
As celebs clinked glasses and mingled on the red carpet the chatter turned from the US-born actress’s dress to her embattled playboy pub baron ex-fiancé Jon Adgemis, and whether there was something beneath her gloves.
In October, it was reported the pair had quietly called time on their engagement, with Megan attending The Weeknd’s concert at Accor Stadium without her beau.
The model wasn’t wearing her eye-popping diamond ring on her wedding finger as she danced the night away alongside her socialite pals Jade Yarbrough, Sarah Stephens and Montana Cox.
Fast forward to Wednesday night’s GQ Awards and Megan was looking hotter than ever in her red midi dress, stealing the show with the ultimate revenge look for the evening.
She ensured all eyes were on her with piping hot red shoes and gorgeous leather gloves, while her hair was tied back to show off her dazzling earrings and sharp collarbones.

In 2020, former high-flying banker Jon Adgemis turned his attention to pouring beers – and was out to give Sydney’s pub tsars a run for their money by building an empire of his own.
But it all came crashing down when his hospitality group began to struggle amid rising interest rates – just just two weeks ago Commonwealth Bank took control of his 95-foot yacht, Hiilani, once owned by Shirley Temple, appointing receivers its holding company.
It was only a few years ago that Jon’s Jaga Group splashed out more than $50million on pubs, including The Town Hall in Balmain, The Kurrajong in Erskineville, The Exchange in Darlinghurst and The Camelia Grove in Alexandria.
He also swooped on The Empire Hotel in Annandale, paying $5million for the popular corner pub.
The suave dealmaker was intent on building an empire of more than 20 pubs, bars and hotels to compete with giants Merivale, Laundy Hotels and Iris Capital.
While better known in social circles as the former boyfriend of model Cheyenne Tozzi, Jon is a former head of mergers and acquisitions at accounting giant KPMG.
His foray into Sydney’s hotel business focused attention on his high-flying playboy lifestyle.
As well as a string of model ex-girlfriends, Jon has – or perhaps, had – an impressive exotic car collection and was often pictured driving around Sydney in a black Maserati.
Settling down with Megan more than seven years ago, the pair made a head-turning social debut – via helicopter – at the 2017 Derby Day at Flemington.

After meeting through friends in Mykonos, the couple regularly documented their lavish international holidays, and Megan could often be seen posing provocatively aboard Jon’s now-seized yacht.
But in May Meghan was seen gracing the Cannes International Film Festival red carpet for her movie Oh, Canada while Jon battled with administrators back in Australia.
Then in October sources revealed that the actress had ended the relationship after returning from a trip to the US, although the pair are still tied together through film.
Jon was executive producer on the Paul Shrader flick, where Meghan played a bit part alongside Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, and fellow Aussie Jacob Elordi.
The film is due to hit cinemas this week.
Megan and Jon also had actress and producer credits in the Paramount+ television show Last King of the Cross.
