Riphah strengthens global partnerships through academic leadership

Islamabad: In a significant step towards achieving academic excellence on the global stage, Prof. Dr. Yawar Hayat Khan, deputy vice chancellor (Academics) Riphah International University (RIU), represented the institution as an international keynote speaker and workshop facilitator at the prestigious Saudi International Medical Education Conference (SIMEC 2024) in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, says a press release.

Hosted by the Saudi Society for Medical Education (SSME) and Jazan University, the conference focused on advancing Interprofessional Education (IPE) in healthcare.

Prof. Dr. Yawar Hayat Khan delivered a thought-provoking keynote address on the integration of Leadership and Quality Improvement in interprofessional health education. He also led an inaugural pre-conference workshop on Educational Leadership, a pioneering effort in the Kingdom.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, Prof. Dr. Yawar Hayat Khan acknowledged Dr. Hassan Alzahrani, President of SSME, for the invitation and exceptional hospitality.
