Suriya and RJ Balaji’s film to have THIS actor as an antagonist?

The makers of Suriya 45 are on a spree to drop updates about the film, one after the other. Directed by actor-filmmaker RJ Balaji, it was recently announced that young and sensational musician Sai Abhyankkar is on board the project, replacing AR Rahman. Now, as per the latest reports, discussions are on with actor Vijay Sethupathi to play the antagonist. Will the Master actor, once again don the baddie role, and play opposite Suriya? Only the official announcement will reveal it!

We have already seen the menacing avatar of Vijay Sethupathi who played the antagonist in films like Master, Vikram, and Vikram Vedha. While the actor took a break from playing the villain roles for some time, looks like we will see him play again in the upcoming film Suriya 45. Reportedly, the team is in talks with the actor, and if all goes well, we can see the Vikram baddies, Suriya and Vijay Sethupathi lock horns in Suriya 45. An official announcement is yet to be made by the team.

Suriya 45 is written and directed by RJ Balaji and is backed by Dream Warrior Pictures. The film marks the first time Suriya is working with RJ Balaji. The project went on floors a few days back in Pollachi, with actor Trisha expected to play the female lead.

When Suriya 45 was first announced, AR Rahman was confirmed as the music composer. However, weeks after the announcement, the team announced that Sai Abhyankkar, who made viral hit songs like Aasa Kuda and Katchi Sera, was onboard as the composer of the project.

It is indeed a big opportunity for Sai Abhyankkar, who will be making his debut as the film composer with the upcoming LCU film Benz, and has Suriya 45 as his sophomore project. A release date for Suriya 45 is yet to be announced.
