Škoda Auto Volkswagen India expands regional distribution centre to enhance customer experience, ET Auto

The company has doubled its regional distribution center (RDC) footprint to 52,000 sqm over the past ten years. This investment aims to enhance the customer ownership experience by ensuring quicker access to genuine parts.

The company also operates parts distribution centers in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Bangalore. These strategically located centers serve customers throughout India. The facilities handle parts and accessories for Škoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini. While primarily focused on the domestic market, the facilities also provide support to the international market. This expansion reinforces SAVWIPL’s commitment to improving after-sales service.

SAVWIPL expansion plans

SAVWIPL recognises that customer care extends beyond providing quality vehicles. The company has expanded its touchpoints to 540 in 2024. This wider network ensures accessible and reliable service across India. Customers nationwide can readily access expert assistance, whether for routine maintenance or urgent repairs.

SAVWIPL has increased its RDC space to 52,000 sqm, demonstrating its commitment to customer satisfaction. A key part of this expansion is the recent 8,000 sqm addition to the Pune RDC. This brings the Pune facility to a total of 33,000 sqm, optimising operational efficiency.
