Taylor Swift, Zendaya and More Looks

In 2024, celebrities pushed the boundaries of fashion on some of the world’s most prestigious red carpets. From the glamorous gowns at the Met Gala to the daring ensembles at the British Fashion Awards, this year’s red carpet moments saw stars betting on vintage pieces, taking on method dressing and embracing the sheer trend.

At the Golden Globes, Margot Robbie made a hot pink statement in a Giorgio Armani Privé gown inspired by the 1977 SuperStar Barbie’s 50th anniversary and Taylor Swift saw green in Gucci. For the Grammys, Miley Cyrus wore a dress made from 14,000 gold safety pins that took 675 hours to make. The Oscars saw Gabrielle Union in a shimmering two-piece set from Carolina Herrera and Billie Eilish in Chanel.

Zendaya delivered drama in a custom Margiela by John Galliano and a Givenchy spring 1996 couture gown at the Met Gala 2024. Bella Hadid went sheer in Saint Laurent and Chopart at the Cannes Film Festival, while Chappell Roan embraced the naked dress trend in Y/Project for the MTV VMAs.
