Baby John box office collection day 4: Varun Dhawan’s Baby John hit the big screens on Christmas, December 25, showcasing him in a massy, action-packed role. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi as the leading ladies, with Jackie Shroff playing the main villain. Fans were also excited to see Salman Khan’s cameo in a special scene after the climax. However, the movie received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. According to a report by sacnilk.com, Baby John, directed by Kalees and a remake of the film Theri, earned approximately Rs 4.25 crore on its fourth day at the box office.
Baby John collected Rs 19.65 crore in its first three days in India. With its fourth-day earnings, the total now stands at Rs 23.96 crore. Made on a whopping budget of Rs 180 crore, the film struggled to recover its costs and has turned out to be one of Bollywood’s biggest flops of the year.

Baby John’s reason of failure at the box office
Baby John is facing tough competition at the box office from two major releases – Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, and the Hollywood animated musical Mufasa: The Lion King. According to early estimates, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 11 crore, while Mufasa collected Rs 9 crore on Saturday. Pushpa 2 was released on December 5, while Mufasa hit theatres on December 20.
While the film aimed to be a mass-market entertainer, the execution might not have connected well with viewers, limiting its reach.
