Regarding Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy’s controversial comment, he recently sent a letter to his admirers wishing them a happy new year and to those who were “worried” about a 70-hour workweek.

In a playful post on X (formerly Twitter), Mittal wished his followers a Happy New Year while taking a jab at the debate. He quipped, “All those worried about 70 hr work weeks, relax! AI gonna take our jobs so we will have all the time to chill in 2025.”

One user commented, “…but let’s just hope AI doesn’t end up demanding a salary and an appraisal too,” in response to the post, which prompted a rush of responses. Some offered a light-hearted remark, such as “Narayana Murthy maybe drafting a reply,” while others praised Mittal’s humour, describing it as a “unique way to wish New Year wishes.”
