Unknowingly and surprisingly, they are not alone. A terrifying hungry creature, concealed in the shadows, watching them from the darkness, patiently waiting for the storm to subside and reveal its unsuspecting prey.

Director Andrew Traucki’s experience filming around water

Back in 2020, before the movie’s release, filmmaker Andrew Traucki shared his several experiences of filming Black Water: Abyss. In an interview with The Phuket News portal, he stated that he loves watery places and beaches. He even loves to surf. According to him, it’s a great texture and element to a film. However, he admits it’s quite difficult to shoot in water. Even its hectic for the whole crew as well.
