Choice Music Prize Irish Song of the Year shortlist announced
The overall winner will be a decided by a public vote
Capping off this week’s Choice Music Prize announcements, the nominees for Irish Song of the Year have been unveiled on RTÉ 2FM’s Tracy Clifford Show today.
The shortlist is:
- Jordan Adetunji – Kehlani
- Chubby Cat – Quiet
- CMAT – Aw, Shoot
- Cian Ducrot – Here It is
- Fontaines D.C. – Starburster
- Hozier – Too Sweet
- Jazzy – Make Up
- Kabin Crew – The Spark
- Picture This – Act of Innocence
- Niamh Regan – Music
To vote, head over to rte.ie/2fm.
Votes are limited to one per person per day. Only votes cast in the Republic of Ireland will be counted. Voting closes at midnight on Sunday, February 16.
The winning song will be announced by Tracy Clifford on March 6, on a special Song of the Year radio show on 2FM, ahead of the live event that evening.
Previous winners of Irish Song of the Year include Cian Ducrot, Moncrieff, and Dermot Kennedy.
2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the Choice Music Prize.
