Maruti Suzuki Eeco celebrates 15 years in India with 1.2 million sales, ET Auto

The company announced the milestone, highlighting the vehicle’s popularity with over 1.2 million customers since its 2010 launch. The Eeco caters to both families and businesses, offering various configurations and fuel options.

The Eeco has become a popular choice for customers seeking comfort and practicality. Maruti Suzuki emphasised its versatility in meeting diverse needs. The company’s focus on understanding customer requirements has contributed to the Eeco’s success.

Eeco variants

Maruti Suzuki offers the Eeco in 13 variants to cater to diverse customer needs. These include 5-seater, 7-seater, Cargo, Tour, and Ambulance configurations, highlighting its versatility as a multi-purpose vehicle. This diverse range allows customers to choose the variant that best suits their specific requirements.

The 1.2L Advanced K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine is a popular choice among Eeco buyers, representing 57% of sales. The engine provides a balance of power and efficiency. This engine option reflects customer preferences for performance and fuel economy.

Maruti Suzuki also offers the Eeco with S-CNG technology. This environmentally friendly option accounts for 43% of Eeco sales. This demonstrates the growing demand for alternative fuel vehicles in India. This option caters to customers seeking cost-effective and cleaner fuel alternatives.

Safety features in the Eeco include a driver airbag, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, seat belt reminders for both driver and co-driver, and a high-speed alert system. These features are standard across all variants, ensuring the safety of occupants. Maruti Suzuki prioritises safety in its vehicle design and incorporates important safety technologies.
