Pune: Prof. Milind Joshi Urges Youth To Embrace Swami Vivekananda’s Teachings For National Development On National Youth Day |

Prof Milind Joshi, the acting editor of Vichar Bharati, Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, appealed to the youth of the country to set goals and not rest until they achieve them, highlighting the importance of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings.

He emphasised that the primary responsibility for the country’s development lies with the youth, who are intelligent, technologically savvy, and creative. However, he pointed out that they often fail to recognize their spiritual strength. Prof. Joshi urged the youth to follow Vivekananda’s example and realize their potential.

He was speaking at a program organized by the Swami Vivekananda Chair at the Kumar Vyas Auditorium of MIT Art, Design, and Technology University, held on the occasion of National Youth Day.

Dr. Joshi further explained that India has always been rich in technology and science, but while the West made scientific progress, they often neglected spiritual, mental, and emotional development. He quoted Swami Vivekananda, the first proponent of positive globalization, saying, “The East should give philosophy to the West, and the West should take science from the East, and both should make offerings for world welfare.” He also mentioned that Dr. Vishwanath Karad and Dr. Mangesh Karad are working to make students spiritually strong.
